A Reluctant Publishing Update: October 25th, 2022

Two posts in one day… and I am VERY reluctant to post this one. However, it must be done, so here we are.

I must push back my publishing date ONE final time.

While trying to transfer my manuscript from the software I have been using to be printed, I have been experiencing technical issues. Because of this, I have been forced to reformat the entire manuscript using a different program. This has proven to be an incredibly time-consuming process, and unfortunately, I will not be able to meet my deadline.

I am deeply disappointed by this, and I am very sorry to have to change the publishing date again.

Sometimes, unforeseeable things happen. This is a learning process for me, and now I know to be prepared for technology to revolt.

Again, I am very sorry for changing the date again. This should be the last time.

    I know you are very frustrated by this. Would you please, at some point, share your technology woes here on you blog and/or on your podcast so we who read/listen may (possibly) avoid such frustration?

      I am very frustrated, but it will get done! 😊
      Yes, I can absolutely discuss my technology issues at some point (the podcast might be a better place for it since I could rant about it for an hour 😂).

    Yours is not an unusual problem, but that doesn’t necessarily make it any easier. It is the result that matters most. I wish you the best.

      It is nice (in an unfortunate way) to know that I am not alone in these technological frustrations. I agree; the results are far more important! I appreciate the well-wishes!
