A new post on a non-posting day? Unheard of, I know!

I just wanted to pop in really quick and give you a quick update about a couple projects that I am working on that will be coming very soon.

First, I am planning to launch a serialized novel.

This basically means I will be posting a full novel-length work one chapter at a time! At this point, I am planning to use Amazon Vella to publish the serial.

Amazon Vella allows you to read the first chapter for free so you can see if you like the story. If you want to continue reading, you have to purchase tokens (which the author receives part of as royalties, so your money is going towards supporting the author).

If you are interested, I will provide updates (including a synopsis of the story) closer to the launch date (hopefully, sometime in September), and I will post a link when it launches.

Second, podcasting! I will be attempting two different podcasts.

One will be a free audio version of my blog posts; this way it is more accessible. These will likely go up on the same day as the written posts (although, this could change).

The other will be a subscriber-only podcast. The first episode will be free, but after that, it will be subscriber-only (for a small fee). The podcast content will be different than my blog content – I’ll be aiming for a more “chatty” feeling. These podcasts will be posted every Thursday (tentatively), and I will continue to post blog content every Wednesday and Sunday.

I will send out another update closer to the release of the podcasts (probably around late August or September).
