Seasons

Warm and playful. A flowing dress and long wild hair down her back as she runs barefoot in the lush green field. A wildflower crown atop her head, she moves on the gentle breeze among the trees and bees, flowers and birds as if she were one of them. She is one of them.

Hot and temperamental. Uncontrollable storm one minute, then sunny disposition the next, all in one body. Blue eyes and yellow hair, warm skin, coral-colored toes in sandals. The smell of the ocean clings to her very soul. Radiant in every way. When she comes around, she offers travel and adventure, things to be discovered and experienced. She is a reprieve.

Cool and colorful. Bronze skin and red-brown hair, amber eyes and wearing sweaters of burnt yellows and oranges. A mild disposition, with an air of mystery and change. An old friend that comes and goes almost unnoticed. Quiet, reserved, with an embrace that brings comfort and coziness. When they slip away silently, they leave some coziness behind.

Pale and cold. Slate grey eyes, white hair, white clothes. An icy stare thawed by the fire burning inside. She moves with confidence, even when she goes unwanted, even when she is wished away. She is unashamed, unapologetic, and so devastatingly beautiful. She brings with her the end and the beginning.
