The simplicity of this line is beautiful. A three-letter word, that when given the right context, can elicit such deep meaning. To someone who has been in love, the words “him” or “her” conjure an immediate image of that person – that one beloved person. It pulls forth the feelings of joy and love and brings memories to the forefront of our minds. “She”, “her”, “he”, “him”, “they”, “them” – to someone who is in love, those words carry the layered meaning and feeling associated with the person they love.
