In place of a regular post, today I will be providing another short publishing update. The last update was at the beginning of July in a blog post titled: A Publishing Update: July 3rd, 2022. So here I am again to fill you in on the last few months of “progress” (the astute reader will notice the quotes around the word progress 😅).

In the last update, I said that I was working on what I hoped would be my last round of edits. Yeah… I was wrong; I am currently working on ANOTHER round of edits. As I mentioned in July, it is tough for me to consider my work ‘done’. However, this time I am focused specifically on small grammatical fixes and line editing. Hopefully, after finishing this round, I can finally say: ‘I am done editing… Hallelujah!”

Since July, I have been doing very little with the first novel in the series, outside of editing. The story has been written and polished, the novel has gone through multiple rounds of reading and editing, and the front cover has been designed. Now, I’m just making final tweaks… and waiting.

It will be published SOON, and I am VERY excited!
